Spacecraft Dream Chaser made a test flight

Four years ago, the first test flight of the spacecraft Dream Chaser ended in an accident: at the time of landing the chassis was not fully revealed. Since then, the reusable spacecraft has undergone a complete reconstruction and on Saturday, November 11, successfully landed at the NASA Research Center. Armstrong in California, fully fulfilling the test flight program.

The Dream Chaser was developed at Sierra Nevada Corporation specifically to supply the ISS. So far, it is the only vehicle that, after performing the space mission, can land on the runway, including the strip of a large international airport.

It is assumed that after a series of tests Dream Chaser will begin regular flights to the ISS in late 2019.
